Preparation for 35 donuts

Ingrédients

75g sugar
2 tbsp vanilla sugar
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
250g flour
¼ teaspoon salt
2l oil, for frying

Recipe steps

1

Put the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix. Add the cream cheese and mix again. Add the eggs one at a time, beating between each addition. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix to obtain a smooth batter.

2

Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan to 180°C.

3

Fry the donuts in batches: take a teaspoonful of batter and shape it into a donut with a second teaspoon. Slide them into the hot oil and fry the doughnuts for about 4 minutes, stirring regularly with a slotted spoon until the donuts are golden brown all over.

Pour servir:

100g sugar
¼ c.à.c. cinnamon

Recipe steps

1

In a shallow dish, mix the sugar with a little cinnamon and set aside.

2

Remove the donuts using a slotted spoon and drain on a piece of paper towel, then roll the hot doughnuts in the cinnamon sugar.

3

Continue with the rest of the dough until it is all used up.

4

Donuts are best eaten on the day they are made, or you can freeze them. You can reheat them briefly in the microwave to make them slightly warm.
