Baked brie in a bowl made out of bread!

Ingredients

4 bread buns
1 head of garlic
4 tbs olive oil
  Salt, pepper
2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
50g chopped hazelnuts
1 tbs honey

Recipe steps

1

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2

Cut out holes at the center of the bread buns that are big enough to hold the brie cheese. Score the rest of the bread vertically to easily break off bread pieces after baking.

3

Unwrap the brie cheeses and cut them in half. Place one half at the center of each bun.

4

Cut off the top of the garlic head. Place the buns and garlic in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle sea salt on top.

5

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 180°C (fan) for 25 minutes.

6

Remove the aluminum foil and add the hazelnuts onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10 more minutes.

7

Press the garlic cloves out of their skins. Mash them with a fork and combine with olive oil.

8

Brush the cheese with the garlic oil. Add freshly cracked black pepper and a drizzle of honey. Top with the roasted hazelnuts and fresh thyme. Serve warm.
