An alcohol free chaï cocktail filled with tasty spices
For the chaï concentrate
10 cloves
10 black peppercorns
20 cardamon pods
1 star anise
350ml of water
2 black tea bags
1 tsp. of sugar
Recipe steps
Dry-roast the spices in a saucepan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add in the water and simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Add in the tea bags and sugar and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Strain the chai concentrate. Let it cool down.
Pour chaque cocktail
1/4 tsp vanilla bean powder or vanilla extract
1 pinch dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
1 star anise
6-8 ice cubes
Recipe steps
Fill a cocktail shaker or lidded jar with ice cubes. Add in the chaï concentrate and shake until cold. Pour into a cocktail glass.
Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and fresh ice cubes to the cocktail shaker or lidded jar. Shake until frothy. Pour into the glass.
Serve with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg and garnish with a star anise.
